Woof River Animal Rescue

UPDATE(8/26/26): Minnie was reunited with her family last night!!! Aside from a few porcupine quills she is uninjured. Thank you to all who offered assistance getting this girl home.

One of our Woof River alums is missing! Minnie got away from her adoring family in New Hampshire. Any New England friends please let us know any resources in that area that might be able to assist with finding her. She had a sighting on Tuesday in the woods across from their home, but they cannot find her.

We were able to save little IRIS 🩷. This puppy came from the house of horrors on the news last week ⬇️ (DISCLAIMER: the below news story could be very upsetting)

Iris will not be posted for adoption. A very trusted friend reached out to us this weekend and knew of the perfect home for her. This family lost multiple senior rescue Danes over the last 12 months and their hearts needed another rescue Dane baby.

Though she had start to life I shutter to imagine and is battling a pretty nasty upper respiratory infection right now the future is nothing but roses 🌹for this girl! See her video in comments.

Our GRACIE girl is headed to her forever family in New England! For obvious reasons, they have been counting down the days to her arrival. Thank you to Tiffany & John for fostering! You can write happy tails like Gracie’s. All you have to do is be willing to temporarily open your heart & home to a foster pup. We do the rest!
