Our mission is to provide an organized platform for the encouragement, creation and support of commemorative historical and educational programs on the anniversary of the tragic assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The Foundation will also facilitate and encourage community and national development of programs and events that serve to celebrate and reaffirm the Foundation's collective belief in economic justice and equality for all.

This speech is the ONE! 💯

This is the type of speech that all of our kids need to hear. @drdanielblack delivered the commencement speech of a lifetime up the street in the same city at @cau1988. The symbolism of that is glaring! 👀👀👀

I don’t know about you, but I would’ve preferred to be in the audience for THIS speech. ✊🏾

“They thought that because we were naked, they had stripped Africa from us. What they didn’t know is, Africa ain’t ON you, Africa is IN you.”

📺 You can find the full speech on YouTube if you search “Daniel Black Clark Commencement.” I also recommend buying Dr. Black’s books (like ‘The Coming’) and watching his interviews!
