I've often been asked, "What are some of your favorite memories of Elvis?"
Here's a few.
Elvis knew how much I loved driving, and he never missed an opportunity to tease me about it.
One of his favorite sayings was, "The only difference between Billy's car and a G2 rocket is... Billy's car has four wheels." 😂
Sometimes he would tell people, "I trust Billy's driving so much, I can actually take a nap when he's behind the wheel." Vernon would say the same thing. I have to admit, hearing that from both of them always made me proud.
But my all-time favorite was when Elvis would grin and say, "Billy's car control is so good, he could park a car up a gnat's rear end without touching the sides!"
