A huge THANK YOU to Valero Energy Memphis Refinery for spending the afternoon with our Knowledge Quest Extended Learning Academy students as we kicked off the 2026–2027 after-school program with our Back-to-School Bash: Fueled for Greatness! 🎉

What an incredible afternoon filled with music, laughter, and nonstop fun! Students enjoyed exciting dance competitions, line dancing, and an action-packed tug-of-war that was a crowd favorite! They also had the chance to win awesome prizes and participated in gift card raffles, making the celebration even more memorable.

Thank you, Valero, for your continued partnership and investment in our youth. Your support helps create meaningful experiences that inspire our students and remind them they are truly Fueled for Greatness! 💙💛

The Strong African American Families (SAAF) Cohort at the Knowledge Quest Family Stability Center at Gaston was a tremendous success!

SAAF is an evidence-based program designed to strengthen family relationships, improve communication, build resilience, and equip youth and caregivers with the tools to navigate life’s challenges together.

We are proud of every family that committed to the journey and invested in building stronger, healthier futures. Thank you to our participants, facilitators, and partners for making this cohort impactful.

Through Knowledge Quest’s AgriSTEM Program, students gain hands-on experience in gardening, agriculture, science, teamwork, and healthy living. We are helping local schools create meaningful outdoor learning experiences that connect classroom lessons to the real world.🌿🧤

Sometimes the greatest lessons don’t happen in a classroom—they happen with hands in the soil. 🌱

At Knowledge Quest, we’re cultivating curiosity, responsibility, patience, and a love for learning. Every seed planted is a reminder that with the right care, encouragement, and opportunity, young people can flourish.
