Contraception is healthcare. Access is justice.
This , we celebrate progress while continuing to push for what our communities deserve: access to the full range of contraceptive options, accurate information, and the freedom to make decisions about our bodies and our futures.
The first over-the-counter daily birth control pill in the U.S., , helped remove one barrier by making birth control available without a prescription or ID. SisterReach is proud to stand alongside and advocates across the country who helped make that possible.
But access doesn't simply mean something is sitting on a shelf.
It means affordability. Availability. Information. Options. And the ability to choose what works for YOU.
Because reproductive and sexual justice means having the right to decide if, when, and how we build our families and having the resources to make those decisions real.
This , we celebrate how far we've come and keep working toward what comes next.

Knowing your rights is one thing. Knowing how to use them is another.
Our Know Your Rights community series is back September 24!
From reproductive justice and healthcare access to the policies affecting our everyday lives, we're creating space to talk about what the law actually says, what it means for you, and what you need to know to advocate for yourself and your community.
Partnering with Judge McMullen, we're breaking down today's laws in our language because access to information should never depend on who you know, what you earn, or whether you have a law degree.

Our leadership is making an impact far beyond Memphis.
This week, our Founder & CEO, Rev. Cherisse A. Scott, is joining faith leaders, movement builders, and justice advocates from across the country at the TFAM Leadership Conference 2026.
From leading a Faith-Rooted Toolkit for Advocacy & Organizing alongside Elder Victor Hannah to joining an incredible Resistance Panel featuring Bishop William J. Barber II, Rev. Dr. Osagyefo Sekou, and Ash-Lee Woodard Henderson, Rev. Scott continues to amplify the role of faith in advancing reproductive and sexual justice, health equity, and collective liberation.
For nearly 15 years, SisterReach has stood at the intersection of faith, advocacy, and justice, proving that communities are strongest when we organize with compassion, courage, and conviction.
Join us in celebrating Rev. Scott as she represents on a national stage.
We are proud to see our leadership helping shape the conversations that move communities and movements forward.

Behind every program, every campaign, and every moment of impact, there are phenomenal people doing the work.
This month, we're proud to spotlight this remarkable woman who helps move our work forward every day.
Meet Dr. TaMara Campbell: Director of Programs & Leadership Development at SisterReach.
Dr. TaMara is a Clinical S*x Therapist, author, speaker, educator, and advocate with more than 30 years of experience advancing HIV awareness, harm reduction, reproductive health, and sexuality education.
Long before conversations about pleasure, sexuality, and reproductive justice became mainstream, Dr. TaMara was challenging stigma, expanding understanding, and helping people reclaim their wholeness. Her work is rooted in the belief that sexuality is not something to fear or hide, but a natural, sacred, and powerful part of the human experience.
From training faith leaders across denominations to authoring nine books and receiving national recognition for her contributions to HIV and reproductive justice, Dr. TaMara has dedicated her life to expanding access, fostering healing, and empowering communities.
A fierce advocate for dignity, truth, and liberation, she reminds us that culturally responsive care is not a luxury. It is a necessity.
💜 Help us celebrate Dr. TaMara Campbell in the comments.

Black parenthood has never looked just one way. 🖤
It’s aunties.
It’s uncles.
It’s chosen family.
It’s the people who step in, stand in the gap, and love our children like their own.
That’s always been our strength.
Black Maternal Health Week calls us to honor all the ways our children are cared for and raised.
Because every child deserves to feel seen in the people who love them.
