Refugee Empowerment Program

Did you know that refugees are INVITED into the U.S. through a formal resettlement process and undergo the most intensive vetting of any traveler entering the country? They do not simply choose to move here. They must be officially referred, approved, and selected for resettlement.

World Refugee Day is an opportunity to recognize the resilience, courage, and determination of people who have been forced to leave their homes because of conflict, persecution, or violence.

At REP, we believe that every newcomer deserves the opportunity to build a safe and productive future. Through education, support services, and community connections, we help refugee and immigrant families become thriving members of our community.

Today, we celebrate Juneteenth - a day that honors freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of opportunity for all. As we reflect on this important day, we also celebrate the strength, creativity, and potential of the students and families in our community.

Happy Juneteenth from all of us at REP!

STREAM begins Monday, June 22, and there’s still time to help a student have a summer filled with learning, creativity, and opportunity.

REP’s 6-week STREAM Summer Program serves K-12 students through hands-on experiences in Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math.

Every gift helps make this program possible:

🔹 $25 provides STREAM supplies and materials
🔹 $50 helps fund half a week for one student
🔹 $100 gives one student a full week of STREAM
🔹 $300 gives one student half the summer
🔹 $600 sponsors one student for the entire 6-week program

No gift is too small. Every contribution helps ensure students have access to a safe, enriching environment where they can learn, explore, create, and grow.

Join us in investing in the next generation. Together, we can help 100 students experience a summer of discovery and opportunity.
