MidSouthCon

John Beifuss, veteran reporter at the Commercial Appeal, has filed his final story. Memphis journalism is a little less colorful for it.

John spent much of his career chronicling the movies, music, personalities, and assorted cultural oddities that make this city interesting. He did the kind of reporting that requires curiosity, persistence, a willingness to ask questions, and an appreciation for the fact that sometimes the best story in town isn't the one anybody expected to be writing that morning.

John attended and wrote about multiple MidSouthCons and we appreciated every drop of ink that went into those articles.

If you read this, John, you're welcome to come to the convention any time. Well, not any time - only in March. Keep in touch.
