Mahaffey Event & Tent Rentals

Your tented event is only as good as the rentals inside it - here's a glimpse of what's currently available at Mahaffey.

Linens that travel wherever the table is set, chairs for when your guests need a break from the dance floor, tableware meant for meals you never want to end, and so much more.

This is what we've spent over a century perfecting.

The final Live at the Garden show of 2026 just wrapped, and Kool & the Gang, along with Patti LaBelle, brought the whole lawn to its feet.

Mahaffey provided over 300 tables and 3,000 chairs that covered the grass in front of the Radians Amphitheater stage, where colleagues caught up before the music started, and friends pulled up chairs to share a night out under the stars.

By the time the lights dimmed, nobody was thinking about how any of these summer shows came together, which means we did our job right.

Did you catch any Live at the Garden concerts this summer? Tell us your favorite show from the lineup.

Clients come to us for tables, tents, and everything in between, but what keeps them coming back is trusting that every detail is already taken care of before they even have to ask.

Mahaffey President Daniel Smith recently sat down with cityCURRENT to talk about what actually makes an event run smoothly.

"At the end of the day, we’re taking that blank canvas; we’re building something with parts and pieces, and our job is to make sure our client is very proud of what they’ve created hand-in-hand with us."

Hint: it's not just what's on the order form.

Every time you enter AutoZone Park, you're seeing the work of Mahaffey. The entrance tent welcoming Memphis Redbirds fans on game day is one of the many ways our work can be seen throughout Memphis.

At our recent Mahaffey Family Day at AutoZone Park, Cody Clymer, our Fleet and Field Operations Manager, shared what drives our team behind the scenes: our core values.

Which G.R.I.T. value speaks to you most? Tell us below or DM us to work with the team that lives them.

What are Mahaffey's President, Daniel Smith, and Chief Operating Officer, Thomas Trankle, most looking forward to in our new warehouse? "Everything all under one roof," says Thomas.

For years, Mahaffey has operated out of two separate warehouses totaling 80,000 square feet. Come this fall, we're breaking ground on our new home at 4505 Old Lamar Avenue, where everything will be stored under one roof in a 100,000-square-foot space.

Here's to new beginnings that are built on the same quality you've counted on since 1924. In the meantime, we’re still up and running at 4985 Outland Center Drive.

Follow along for more updates as we settle into our new home!

This 901 Day, one man’s vision is still shaping the city we call home.

In 1973, a young entrepreneur named Frederick W. Smith looked at Memphis and saw something the rest of the world didn’t - a hub that could connect every corner of the globe, overnight. That hub became FedEx, and Memphis became the city that moves the world.

On August 11, 2026, what would have been Fred Smith’s 82nd birthday, the Memphis International Airport officially became the Frederick W. Smith International Airport. Family, city and state leaders, along with the FedEx community, gathered as the airport’s new name was unveiled.

Mahaffey was honored to provide the Garden Tent, which gave guests the perfect view of the moment Rosie, the FedEx 777 in retro livery, landed just beyond on the tarmac.

Tag a Memphian building something bigger than themselves.
