I can kick myself for not taking before picks of this 1982 Strat that I just refurbished. It pretty much needed everything. Now, she's a beauty 🤩

Latest build: koa top, paulowna body, koa control cover w/magnetic fasteners, Delano humbuckers with coil taps, Audere 4 band preamp, Fender bridge, Hipshot Ultralite tuners with a Hipshot Dtuner, rosewood fingerboard, maple neck with a Koa veneer headstock overlay. Weighs in at 6.7 lbs.

A buddy of mine brought this Zon fretless by, not to get work done, but because he knew i would appreciate it. He was correct in his assumption. With its carbon fiber neck, it's an absolutely perfect fretless bass. Gotta love friends like that. 😁

Current koa bass update: fitted the neck, made a veneer from a koa scrap and glued it to the headstock.

Just glued up the koa top to a paulownia body.

Next project is under way. Another koa top from the same board. Looks quite a bit different, but gorgeous just the same.

Just finished a cool project. This one weighs in at only 7.4 lbs 😁 light as a feather.
