A Backpack Can Change More Than a School Day. It Can Change the future.
Did you know that many students lose important academic skills over the summer? That's why our summer programs at LifeLine CDC are about so much more than keeping kids busy.
Every day, our students read, complete learning activities, tackle hands-on science projects, and discover new things about the world around them. They work hard, stay curious, and keep growing.
At the end of the program, they earn a brand-new backpack to start the school year with confidence and pride.
Would you consider adopting a child (or two)?
By purchasing a backpack, you're not just giving school supplies—you're encouraging a child who has spent the summer learning, growing, and preparing for a successful school year.
Together, we can help every child walk into school ready to learn.
Adopt a backpack today and invest in a child's future! https://a.co/044Vi1F3
It is easy: pick a backpack, purchase it, and have it delivered to 731 E Yosemite Ave Ste B # 165, Merced, CA 95340.

We are now ECM's (Enhanced Care Management) providers. If you have Medical through Alliance and need some extra support. Please feel free to call our centers for help!
Today is my birthday. 🎉
As I've gotten older, I've realized that the greatest gifts in my life aren't the things I own—they're the people I've had the privilege to know and the lives I've been invited into.
For almost 20 years, I've had the incredible honor of serving through LifeLine CDC. Every day we walk alongside children who need someone to believe in them, families working hard to build a better future, seniors who need community, and neighbors returning home after incarceration who deserve a second chance.
I've learned that poverty isn't simply a lack of money. Often it's a lack of opportunity, relationships, hope, and someone who will simply walk beside you. That's what we try to do every single day.
So this year, I have one birthday wish.
Instead of buying me a gift, would you consider making a donation to LifeLine CDC?
Your gift helps provide after-school programs for kids, mentoring, food and resource navigation, ESL classes, tax preparation, support for individuals rebuilding their lives, and countless conversations that remind people they matter.
No gift is too small. Together, small acts of generosity become life-changing opportunities.
If LifeLine has ever encouraged you, if you believe every person has gifts and potential, or if you simply want to invest in a stronger community, I'd be honored if you joined me.
Thank you for celebrating with me—not just another year of life, but the opportunity to help others discover that their life story is not their life sentence and that their current location is not their destiny.
❤️ Thank you for being part of the journey.

$632,229!!!!! 🎉
That is the amount of tax refunds processed by our VITA team this season!
Over half a million dollars went back into our community through free tax preparation and assistance. That means families have more resources for rent, groceries, transportation, savings, and the things that matter most.
Our team worked incredibly hard, and this impact is an amazing gift to our neighbors.
THANK YOU, team!!! 👏❤️
