MARK YOUR CALENDAR: The Merced County Courthouse Museum will open "The MAC at 30: A Canvas of Community" exhibit on Thursday, October 8, at 5 p.m. to celebrate the Merced Multicultural Arts Center's 30th anniversary. The exhibit chronicles The MAC's humble beginnings, showcases its award-winning projects, and intertwines art and history in a beautiful display. At the opening, an art and performance festival will take place in front of the Courthouse Museum.
