To wrap up our officer introductions, we have our purple-loving, chicken-tender-connoisseur, small-engine expert, horse-loving Chapter President, Natalie Ortiz!

Natalie may have only been involved in FFA for eight months, but she’s already ready to take on the role of Chapter President and make an impact on our chapter.

From working on small engines and competing in Small Engines to being involved in Public Safety Club, Natalie brings plenty of different interests and experiences to our officer team. She’s especially passionate about making sure every student feels welcomed, supported, and like they belong in FFA.

Hi, El Capitan FFA! My name is Natalie Ortiz, I’m a senior, and I’m honored to serve as your 2026–2027 Chapter President!

I’ve been involved in FFA for eight months, and my SAE project focuses on repairing small engines. My favorite FFA memory so far has been attending State Conference, where I had the opportunity to meet new people, make lifelong friendships, and create unforgettable memories.

My favorite CDE is Small Engines because it challenges me to do my best and continue improving my skills. This year, I’ll also be participating on LDE teams, and I’m excited to continue growing as a leader.

What I love most about FFA is the endless opportunities it provides and the many career pathways it opens for students.

My number one goal this year is to help our Hispanic students feel welcomed and included by translating for them, supporting them, and helping them find their place in FFA.

I want every student to know that they belong and have the opportunity to succeed.

What excites me most about serving as a chapter officer is the chance to help students, make a positive impact, and hopefully inspire them to love FFA as much as I do.

I’m excited to make this year meaningful for our members and help create a chapter where everyone feels like they belong.

Wrapping up our Vice President introductions, we have our floral-loving, sushi-loving, goat-raising, Dubai-chocolate-tasting VP of Growing Leaders, Emilee Robinson!

From raising goats and competing in Floral to trying basically every Dubai chocolate she can find, Emilee definitely has some personality to bring to the officer team!

As a sophomore and second-year FFA member, Emilee is excited to build connections, meet new people, and help our chapter grow throughout the year.

Hi, El Capitan FFA! My name is Emilee Robinson, I’m a sophomore, and I’m excited to serve as your 2026–2027 Vice President of Growing Leaders!

I’ve been involved in FFA for two years, and my SAE project is Goats. One of my favorite FFA memories so far has been State Conference, where I got to make memories and experience more of what FFA has to offer.

My favorite CDE is Floral, which also connects to what I hope to do after high school.

I’m excited to continue growing in FFA, make more memories, and see where this year takes me!

One thing I love most about FFA is the connections I make with other people and the memories along the way.

As an officer, my goal this year is to build more connections and help our chapter grow.

I’m most excited to build relationships and meet new people through events, competitions, and conferences.

I’m looking forward to getting to know more people throughout the year and creating memories with our chapter!

When I’m not at an FFA event, you can probably find me spending time with my goats or doing something floral-related.

Outside of FFA, I also love traveling, going to concerts, spending time at the beach, visiting new places, and making memories with the people and pets I love.

I also have a pretty serious love for sushi and pink.

And if there’s a new Dubai chocolate to try, there’s a good chance I’ve already tried it.

Hey, El Capitan FFA! My name is Sebastian Stokes, I’m a senior, and I’m excited to serve as your 2026–2027 Vice President of Building Communities alongside my fellow officer team!

I’ve been involved in FFA for four years, and my SAE is Small Engines. Working on engines has given me the chance to spend plenty of time in the shop and gain hands-on experience with something I really enjoy.

My favorite FFA memory is my first-ever Small Engines competition. It was one of those experiences that made competing in FFA even more exciting for me.

My favorite competitions are Small Engines and Opening & Closing Ceremonies. I’ve always enjoyed the competition side of FFA, and honestly, one of the things I love most about FFA is the jackets and competitions.

As I head into my final year of FFA, I’m ready to have as much fun as possible, make some great memories, and make the most of my senior year in the blue jacket!

As an officer, one of my goals this year is to have max fun, leave an imprint on my school, and encourage others to become officers.

I want to make this year something people remember and help show other members how much FFA has to offer.

I’m also most excited about having fun and making memories while leading alongside my fellow officers.

I hope I can encourage other members to step up, get involved, and maybe even see themselves serving as an officer someday.

Now, we’re kicking off our Vice Presidents! First up, we have our water-polo-playing, softball-playing, dairy-heifer-showing Vice President of Strengthening Agriculture, Molly Akers!

Molly has grown up around agriculture and has been involved in 4-H for seven years and FFA for three years. From showing dairy heifers to competing on varsity water polo and softball, Molly stays busy both in and out of agriculture!

Hi, El Capitan FFA! My name is Molly Akers, I’m a junior, and I’m excited to serve as your 2026–2027 Vice President of Strengthening Agriculture alongside my fellow officer team!

I’ve been involved in FFA for three years, and my SAE is showing dairy heifers. Through my SAE, I get to continue working with animals and gaining hands-on experience in agriculture.

My favorite FFA memory is my freshman year State Conference. It was a great experience and one of the memories that has stayed with me throughout my time in FFA.

My favorite CDE is Floral, which is one of my favorite parts of competing in FFA.

I’m excited to continue growing through FFA, make new memories, and make the most of my time serving our chapter this year!

I’ve grown up around agriculture and have many, many animals, from cows and horses to a donkey, along with cats and dogs.

I’ve also been involved in 4-H for seven years, which has given me even more opportunities to be involved in agriculture and learn along the way.

One thing I love most about FFA is the people you meet along the way. I’m most excited about the memories I’ll get to make while leading alongside my fellow officers this year.

When I’m not involved in FFA or working with my animals, you can probably find me playing one of my favorite sports.

I’m on varsity water polo and varsity softball, so sports keep me busy outside of FFA.

I also enjoy writing, which is another one of my favorite things to do in my free time.

Between sports, writing, agriculture, and my animals, there’s always something keeping me busy!

Hello, El Capitan FFA! My name is Abigail Borja, but you can call me Abby, and I’m so excited to serve as your 2026–2027 Chapter Secretary!

I’m a sophomore and I was born and raised here in Merced. I’ve been involved in FFA for two years, and I hope to stay involved throughout all of high school.

One of my favorite parts of FFA has been getting to experience new things and meet new people. My favorite FFA memory so far was being elected Chapter Secretary and attending State Finals at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. It was such a special experience and a memory I’ll always remember.

My SAE project this year was Meat Birds, which taught me a lot about responsibility, discipline, leadership, and communication.

My favorite CDE is Vegetable Judging, where we get to identify and analyze vegetables, seeds, weeds, and plant diseases. It’s also a great way to meet new people and make friends!

I’m excited to continue growing through FFA, make new memories, and see what the rest of my high school FFA experience has in store!

I was born and raised here in Merced, and my family loves to travel, camp, and occasionally go hiking together.

Camping is one of my favorite things, and I’ve gotten to visit quite a few places with my family, including Little Sandy’s, Big Sandy’s, Lake McSwain, New Brighton State Beach, and Big Bear.

I really enjoy getting to spend time with my family, explore new places, and make memories along the way.

I’m excited to meet all of our new members this year and hope to be someone you can always come to if you need anything!
