Pajama Day Shenanigans, August’ Social Event.

Last Friday we had two teams screen printing, they worked on making their temporary press joints using tape and matboard, registering their prints, taking turns holding down the frame and pulling the squeegee.
Here’s team 2; Michael Rosales and Anthony Armenta working together to create the register for their prints, by outlining their screen.

“Werewolf in Merced, CA” by Jayden Flores, Pencil Drawing, 8x10, 2026.
The EC Gallery is crawling out of the crypt after a long hiatus, we’ll be opening a call for art first week of September, be on the look out!
Jayden Flores has been working on a variety of werewolves, really cool pencil drawings and a beautiful oil painting. Come to our October Exhibit, you will be horror-fied!
About our gallery, the EC Gallery, is located on the Third Floor of The MAC, walls: 2- 9ft x 8ft, 1-6ftx8ft, display cases 1- 9ft case, 2- 6ft- cases. Additionally we have the use of 3- 2ftx2ftx2ftx2ftx8ft pillars, and additional wall space. Our goal with our gallery is to continue offering workshops in Gallery Curation to the artists of the Enrichment Center to learn wall prep, handling of art, installation of art, communicating with artists and development of the Curator’s Eye. EC Curators may rotate based on the exhibit. If you would like to volunteer in the EC Gallery and The MAC Galleries check out artsmerced.org
