Cute flavors. Cute packaging. Not-so-cute addiction. πŸ’¨

Vapes, smokeless to***co, and other ni****ne products are designed to catch your eye, but behind the flavors and trends is ni****ne, a drug that can affect your brain and lead to addiction.

Don't let the packaging fool you!

🌎 πŸ’‘ Did you know cigarette butts are the most littered item in the world? They contaminate our soil and waterways and release toxic chemicals into the environment long after they’re discarded.

This year, we want to highlight the connection between a healthy environment and a to***co-free life. Quitting to***co is not only a powerful step for personal health, but also a meaningful way to reduce environmental harm.

If you or someone you know is ready to quit, support is available.

The Merced Mail Pouch Barn is a reminder of how to***co advertising used to work. In the 1940s, the to***co company painted large ads on barns along highways to catch the attention of travelers. 🚜

Today, to***co marketing looks very different. Instead of roadside signs, companies spend BILLIONS on price discounts, flavored products, and targeted promotions. These modern strategies are often designed to appeal to youth by having things like lower prices, mint and candy flavors, and social media-style branding.

While the location has shifted from rural barns to retail stores and digital spaces, the goal remains the same: attract new users. The difference is that today’s marketing is more targeted, making young people especially vulnerable to to***co advertising. 🎯 πŸ“Š
