SWAG (Students With Aspiring Goals) is a non-profit organization located in Merced County. SWAG's mission is to mentor and academically prepare student athletes from Merced County to enter four year colleges and earn college degrees. DeVon Hilliard is the president of the SWAG and is passionate about SWAG’s cause. Hilliard feels that Merced County is riddled with social and economic problems, and that SWAG can make a difference in assisting young athletes to not only gain admittance into universities but earn degrees. Things are heating up at SWAG! 🔥🏀
Our back area is almost completely leveled and getting closer to being ready for our new outdoor court! We’re excited to see this project coming together for our youth.
We’re also transforming our side area into a turf training space. This area will be used for athletic drills, skill development, and will have a dedicated space for our JUGS Machine. 🏈⚾💪
Every improvement we make is about creating more opportunities and positive experiences for the youth we serve.
We’re building more than athletes—we’re building opportunities.

🇺🇸 SEPTEMBER 11 — NEVER FORGET 🇺🇸
Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001, and honor the lives forever changed by one of the darkest days in our nation’s history.
We remember the innocent lives who were lost, the families who continue to carry their memories, and the heroes who showed extraordinary courage and selflessness in the face of unimaginable circumstances. We honor the firefighters, police officers, first responders, military members, and everyday Americans who stepped forward to help others.
Today is a reminder that their stories, their sacrifices, and their courage should never be forgotten. ❤️🤍💙
May we continue to remember, honor, and teach future generations about the importance of unity, courage, compassion, and standing together.
