We're officially LIVE for registration for our School-Year Weekend Camp!

Looking for a fun and positive way to keep your student active on the weekends? Our Weekend Camp is designed to keep youth engaged through sports, fitness, mentorship, team-building activities, and positive interactions with our SWAG Coaches.

Students will have the opportunity to:
• Stay active and build healthy habits
• Make new friends and develop teamwork skills
• Learn from positive Coaches and mentors
• Have fun in a safe and encouraging environment

As an added incentive, our top participants at the end of the semester will earn an exciting incentive field trip for their commitment, attendance, and positive attitude!

What a great day at Hoover Middle School!

Coach Rocky and Ms. Trish held it down at our table, connecting with both current and new families. It was awesome seeing so many students stop by to learn more about SWAG.

One parent shared something that really stuck with us. She told Ms. Trish, "I've heard of SWAG, but I don't like leaving my kids. They need to do something, so we're going to give it a try." We truly appreciate the trust families place in us, and we're excited to welcome them into the SWAG family.

We also had the opportunity to connect with WIC Coordinator Miranda, who stopped by to share information about the services WIC provides and discuss ways we can collaborate to better serve our community. Of course, she didn't leave empty-handed—she left rocking a pink SWAG bracelet!

Looking back at where we started in 2013, attending events like this wasn't always possible. We didn't have the funding, the staff, and we were all working full-time jobs while building this dream. Today, because of the support we've received and the amazing team we've built, we're able to be present, connect with families, and continue expanding our impact.

This is an exciting time to be part of SWAG, whether you're a participant, a parent, or a Coach/Mentor. The future is bright, and we're just getting started!

We have always had SWAG shirts, hoodies, and hats. Now it's time to bring out the real SWAG!

From removable tattoos and silicone wristbands to stickers and lanyards, we've got some exciting new gear on the way. Everything will be available at our facility around the middle of the month.

Stop by, check it out, grab your favorite items, and represent the SWAG brand wherever you go. We can't wait to see our community showing off their SWAG! The only thing that isn't available is our soccer balls with Level Up Futsal.

As our summer programming begins to wind down, we're already hard at work preparing for an even bigger and better school year. With our continued growth, we're excited to welcome two new members to the SWAG leadership team!

Welcome to the team:

Rocklin Baptista – Assistant Program Manager/Operations Coordinator

Rocklin will oversee the day-to-day operations of our school and community programs. He will coordinate program implementation, support our staff, manage contracts, and help ensure every SWAG program is delivered with excellence.

Mikey Chavez – Human Resources Consultant

Mikey will lead our human resources efforts by overseeing employee onboarding, ensuring compliance with training requirements, supporting our nonprofit and contractual obligations, and helping us build a strong, professional organization as we continue to grow.

Looking back to where we started in 2013, it's incredible to see how far we've come. What began with a small, grassroots approach has grown into an organization serving multiple school districts and impacting hundreds of youth. We are grateful for every family, partner, employee, and supporter who has helped make this journey possible.

And we're not done yet...

Next week we'll be ordering our new indoor basketball training floor. Construction on our outdoor multi-sport court is moving forward, and our new classroom and game room are currently being built out. Every addition is another investment in the youth and families we serve.

The 2026-2027 school year is going to be something special.
