Hats off to Jeff van Petten for spending his morning at the fair yesterday morning. Making sure our animals are healthy before coming to the fair is an important piece of owning livestock.
This local vet sure made a difference for all the 4-Hers today! Thx Jeff for coming.

Always good to hear great news
Hey Doc!!! Wanted to wish you a happy 4th of July. We took the splint off that little ewe lamb earlier this week and she’s doing great. Had practice last night and no one could even tell which leg was broken!
We are forever thankful for your practical approach to life with animals ☺️
Calling our Feline Companions. Please get your Felines on a tick preventive we are seeing about one case of Cytauxzoonosis a day right now. We have Bravecto a 3 month product or seresto collars.
Bobcat fever (cytauxzoonosis) is a rapidly progressing, often fatal tick-borne illness primarily affecting domestic cats. It is caused by the Cytauxzoon felis parasite, which is carried by bobcats and transmitted by the Lone Star tick. Untreated, the disease has a 97% mortality rate and can be fatal within 24 to 72 hours of symptom onset.
