Ten Mile Academy

🐾💗 The 3A Pet Adoption Center is OPEN! 💗🐾

Ms. Kayla’s class had the sweetest little pet adoption day! 🥹🐶🐱 Each kiddo got to choose their very own stuffed animal, give their new pet a name, and make it official with an adoption certificate!

But shhh… 🤫 they thought they were just having fun. Meanwhile, they were practicing decision-making, responsibility, kindness, nurturing, and caring for something of their very own! 😉

The smiles say it all—these new pet parents took their jobs VERY seriously! 😂💕
Welcome home, little pets! We think you found some pretty amazing humans. 🐾🏡✨

Learning through play will forever be our favorite. 💛

These three came ready to cheer on their TMA friends. We love showing up for our families and letting our kiddos see that their biggest fans are cheering them on, in and out of the classroom! 🥰

Spirit Week at Ten Mile Academy was full of personality! 🌟

From tourists and rockstars to wacky hair, sunglasses, and a whole lot of pink for Dolly Parton Day, our kiddos and teachers showed up ready to have fun. We loved seeing everyone’s creativity and excitement each morning!

Thank you, TMA families, for joining in and making this week so memorable. Take a peek at some of our favorite Spirit Week smiles! 💕

Ms. Houston understood the assignment: have just as much fun as the kids! 😂🎃 Her trip down the slide might have been the highlight of our pumpkin patch day.

📚💛 There’s a whole lot of learning happening during story time!

When we read to children, we’re building vocabulary, language, listening skills, imagination, and a lifelong love of books. But just as importantly, we’re teaching them to slow down, listen, wonder, ask questions, and enjoy learning together.

One story at a time, we’re building little readers with BIG imaginations. 📖✨

🐹🥔 Everyone, meet TATER TOT! 🥔🐹

Our preschool program has officially gained its tiniest staff member, and honestly… he’s already pulling his weight around here. 😂

Tater Tot is our Official Snack Inspector, professional circle-time observer, veggie enthusiast, and expert in preschool chaos. He’s still working on his pencil grip and absolutely refuses to help with clean-up, but we’re giving him time. 🤷‍♀️😂

More importantly, Tater Tot is giving our kiddos another fun way to learn about kindness, responsibility, gentle hands, curiosity, and caring for something smaller than themselves. 💛

His resume may be short, but his squeaks are LOUD.

Welcome to the TMA family, Tater Tot! 🥔🐹🌱
Currently majoring in Early Childhood Squeakucation. 🎓😂

🍂✨ FALL SPIRIT WEEK IS COMING! ✨🍂

Next week we’re bringing a little extra FUN to TMA! 🎉 Get those outfits ready because we have a full week of silly, creative dress-up days planned!

🎓💛 Look at our TMA kiddos doing BIG things!

We LOVE getting to see how our kiddos are doing after they leave us for big school! Asher is thriving in Kindergarten, making new friends, learning lots, and even losing a few teeth along the way! 😂🦷

Nothing makes us happier than seeing that the little humans we helped prepare are out there rocking Kindergarten!

Once a TMA kiddo, always a TMA kiddo. 💛🌱
