Today, we made skillet pizza with a simple yogurt & flour dough.

Today at the Courage Co-Op we learned about the artist Mary Cassatt and how revolutionary she was for painting women and children in her time. Previous to this the only intimate family paintings would have been of the Madonna and child.

In Art Sampler, at the Meridian POD school, we wrapped up our watercolor series by painting watercolor feathers.

In Intro to Art we learned about the artist Fredrick Re*****on and how he became a sculptor of western themed art. We used clay to sculpt our own horse.

In Art Studio class at the Meridian POD School we combined what we have learned to this point in class and pulled out the chalk pastels to create a fun still life drawing.

Tonight, we created yummy and delicate Roman-Style Gnocchi in a sage butter sauce in Eagle! A beautiful community with lots of stories and laughter.

Culinary at Meridian Pod School

Today, we made breaded chicken cutlets with a homemade alfredo sauce. Today, took a lot of skill in listening, patience and using a meat thermometer to make sure the chicken was safe to eat. The chicken we pounded out to make them thin and uniform.

Creative Writing at the Meridian Pod School

Today, we practiced using our thesaurus by a word fin-it and using different emojis to come up with emotion words, more than happy or sad. Lastly, we took time for free writing using emoji stickers. Each student got different emoji stickers as they wrote that they had to incorporate into their stories. Many laughs!

Homework…using emojis or emotion words write a 12+ sentence story.
