Today, the Clarkdale Fire Department conducted new driver/operator training, focusing on the fundamentals that keep our firefighters—and our community—safe. Topics included defensive driving, apparatus operations, and the importance of making safety the top priority every time the wheels roll.

Our commitment to training ensures our personnel are prepared to respond safely, professionally, and effectively when our community needs us most.

If you’ve finished 8th grade and are between the ages of 14 and 20, this is your chance to get a firsthand look into the world of public safety through the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department Exploring Program.

From forensics to ride-alongs, this hands-on program offers experiences you won’t find in a classroom.
