We are off to a STRONG start! Our teachers and students were fully engaged in teaching and learning as our administrators conducted classroom walkthroughs throughout the Freshman Academy.

From meaningful instruction and student collaboration to building relationships and establishing classroom expectations, our teachers are laying the foundation for a successful school year. Our freshmen are already showing that they are ready to learn, grow, and take the next step in their high school journey!

We know that how we start matters, so we are starting strong, setting the tone, and building momentum from Day ONE! 💪🏽📚

Today was a special day for our very own Cameron Willis as he attended his first in-person session as a 2026–2027 Mississippi Secretary of State Ambassador at the Fall Summit! 💙Ⓜ️
Cameron spent the day networking, gaining valuable knowledge, and connecting with other student leaders from across Mississippi. We are extremely proud of him for representing Meridian High School and can’t wait to see all that the future holds!
