What is FPCON Charlie? Force Protection Condition Charlie is a high-level U.S. Navy security posture triggered when intelligence indicates a terrorist attack is likely or an incident has occurred in the area. It initiates immediate, stringent measures to "Deny" threats, including, but not limited to 100 % ID checks, restricted installation access, and increased patrols.
Additionally you can expect:
Traffic : Possible closure of certain gates, streets and parking lots
Facility Lockdown: Buildings may lock main doors and conduct ID checks.
FPCON Charlie is part of the Solid Curtain EXERCISE, no real world threat.
