My favorite question to ask my ADHD child is, what do you think?

They’ve often already thought of 100 scenarios and will likely come up with ideas you never thought of.

Then ask them why they think that and you’ll be amazed at the patterns they saw. Sometimes they can’t even quite verbalize how or why they know something, they just recognize a pattern.

Doing this helps them think about how they think and helps them to appreciate their brains!

When you’re young it’s hard to harness that hyper focus, but pinky promise IT IS A GIFT.

What often feels like a burden is actually a blessing.

If you’re a hunter brain raising a hunter brain, hi welcome to the club, it’s definitely always exciting ☺️

Every morning you open a blank chat and start from zero.

You ask it to write a caption. It gives you something generic. You ask it to draft a follow-up email. It sounds like a robot wrote it. So you rewrite it yourself anyway, and quietly decide AI “just doesn’t work” for your business.

Here’s what nobody told you: an untrained AI is a chatbot. A trained AI is an employee.

Think about it like hiring an assistant. If you brought someone on and never told them your name, your market, your listings, or how you actually talk to clients, you’d get generic work back too. You wouldn’t blame the assistant. You’d say they need training.

That’s exactly what you’ve been doing with AI. Re-hiring and re-training it from scratch every single time you open a chat.

Claude is different, because Claude can actually be trained. You sit down for one afternoon, teach it your voice, your market, your business, and it remembers. It doesn’t reset the next time you log in.

Once it’s trained, this is what changes:

Your inbox is triaged before your kids leave for school, with responses already drafted.

A listing signs, and the launch plan builds itself: MLS copy, Instagram carousel, Reel script, email blast. You review, you don’t create from scratch.

Sunday takes twenty minutes and your whole week of content is planned, so you’re not staring at a blank caption box at 9pm wondering what to post.

You open your calendar prep brief at night and know exactly what to walk into tomorrow, before you’re standing in front of it.

A good virtual assistant runs $800 to $1,500 a month, and you still have to train them, manage them, and hope they stick around.

This is $147, once. Trained by dinner tonight.

We’re not normalizing “AI doesn’t work for my business.” We’re normalizing training it like the employee it’s supposed to be, so it actually runs your systems instead of just answering your questions.

Senior year loading…

This day came much faster than I thought it would and while it’s mostly all business around these parts my motherhood has always built my business and my business has built my motherhood.

And this girl is the girl that made sure I bet big on myself.

She was 4-years-old when I asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up and her response? I wanna be just like you 😳

That one little response changed the way I looked at my life and since then, I’ve tried to live in the way I wished for her.

She’s smart. Earning nearly straight A’s in the classroom but I’d tell you she’s brightest outside of the classroom.

More importantly she knows who she is. As a toddler there was zero chance of convincing her to do something she wasn’t interested in.

That same 4-year-old famously sat down and sucked her thumb during a soccer game she told me she didn’t want to play 🤣

While it frustrated me then, there’s nothing I love more than watching her come to her own conclusion and then HOLD HER GROUND.

I tell my kids often your grades don’t matter if you don’t know who you are and where you want to go…and this girls got that in spades.

While she’s nearly graduated and grown, in my mind she will forever be 6 following me around…these days I’m just hoping she lets me keep following her around 😏
