Back at the same place where I went to school almost 50 years ago to register my daughter, Camilla. This brings back a lot of great memories. To my PSN Elementary friends, there's been a lot of change but what hasn't, is it's reputation of being an excellent school.
The Florida Legislature passed HB 1F (CS/HJR 1-F), advancing a sweeping "Save Our Homes" constitutional amendment for the November ballot. The resolution cleared the House with a vote of 75-26 and the Senate with a vote of 30-9, aiming to eliminate and cap a significant portion of homestead property taxes across the state.

Today, I had the privilege of seeing my nephew, Gabriel Fernandez get sworn-in to the Town's Economic Development Committee. It's always an honor to appoint a resident to one of the Town of Miami Lakes' committees, but this one certainly is extra special. I'm proud to see him step up and get involved in our community. Miami Lakes thrives when residents dedicate their time and talent to making our town even better.
