We don’t pick pieces to fill a room. We listen to the room, and to the people who will live in it.
Before we choose a single sofa, fabric or finish, we ask a million questions. How do you start your mornings? Where does everyone gather? What do you need when you come home at the end of a long day? The answers shape everything that comes after.
This home sits right on the sand in Delray, so we let the ocean lead. The palette takes its cue from the shoreline, the light moves freely from room to room, and everything is layered to feel easy and grounded. It’s a home made for bare feet, salt air, sunrise coffee and long dinners with the people this family loves.
A room isn’t finished when it looks beautiful. It’s finished when it feels like you. 🤍

Thirty years ago, at 21, I walked into a design firm and fell in love with this work immediately. Twenty years ago, Brett and I founded B+G Design. Today, I’m honored to share my story in the pages of Revista Imagen Miami.

At this point in my career, I choose the projects that move me, and I pour everything into them. This anniversary isn’t an ending. It’s the beginning of a new chapter, and the best is still ahead.

Two Decades. One Vision. One Love.

Happy birthday to me. 🤍

This year hit different. It handed me more lessons than I expected — some soft, some hard-won — and with them came real healing. Growth I didn’t ask for but needed. And through it all, gratitude. So much gratitude.

Every experience I’ve lived — the ups, the downs, the in-between — I carry it into everything I do. Into how I show up as a wife. A mother. A friend. A business owner. Nothing is wasted. It all becomes part of the craft.

It’s wild to me how personal this work is. Every client who sits with me is trusting me with their story — how they live, what they’ve been through, what they need a space to hold. And I get to take my own journey and turn it into empathy for theirs. To build rooms that nurture the people who live in them.

That’s the gift in all of it. Turning my life into love I can hand to someone else.

Grateful for another year. For the lessons. For the growth. For getting to do this work with my whole heart. 🤍

20 Years, 20 Lessons: St. Regis Bal Harbour, The Beachy Model

One of five models we designed back in 2013.

This one was all about coastal ease. We leaned into applied moldings for architectural detail, but softened everything around it — the goal was a space that felt gathered, close, warm. Such a departure from the Spanish and ‘70s models in the same collection, and honestly, that was the point. It let us show the full range of our design language in one project.

We had fun layering in black-and-white pieces, more traditional framing, and a pop of coastal blue to keep it feeling alive rather than expected.

20 Years, 20 Lessons: The Spanish Model

Back in 2013, we were given five model residences to design at the St. Regis Bal Harbour. This one — the “Spanish model” — came straight from the heart.

We had just come home from Spain, still full of everything it made us feel. So instead of decorating a room, we designed a feeling: bold, romantic, unapologetically rich.

Looking back now, twenty years in, this project taught us almost everything we still believe about design today — that travel is a teacher, that craftsmanship is never a detail, that boldness ages better than safe ever will.

We’re pulling back the curtain on the lessons that built B+G, one project at a time.

Back in 2011, five years after opening B+G, this was one of our design babies.

Tomorrow marks two decades of B+G — and today, I’m celebrating with 30 years of design experience behind me. Before we step into what’s next, we wanted to look back at where this chapter began.

This Fort Lauderdale project was for a legacy client who trusted us with a vision shaped by the experience we already built by then. Looking at these images now, I can see the confidence, the intention, and the heart we brought to every detail.
