LBHR's mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome stray and at-risk cats who are victims
of neglect, illness, injury, abandonment, or abuse.
We are a 501c3 rescue organization made up of a few members and volunteers who started rescuing cats at the beginning of 2022. We rescue all ages, colors , breeds, and sizes of cats, from strays to the ones losing their homes. Our members are located in the counties of Miami-Dade and Broward, Florida. Our goal is to save as many cats as possible and give them a chance at a forever home. We might be a small group, but every day we move mountains to help and save as many cats as we can, even when our resources aren’t the most plenty, because every cat deserves a chance at a loving home. We also invest our time in TNR initiatives as this is a sure way of helping with the feline crisis over population.

Post-workshop decompression done right 🍻🐾
Grateful for a great evening swapping stories, ideas, and all things cats with our partners at Orphan Kitten Club and Mission Meow, and Gary from ACCD.
Long day of workshops and table talks, but conversations like these are where the real magic happens 😺

Moth’s glow-up is a reminder that the right love can change everything 🩶
Our boy is doing absolutely great. He had his dental surgery just last Thursday, and we’re finally closing this chapter. Heart health is under control, IBD is stabilized, and fur is shining 😻 Thanks to for getting him in the best shape of his life 🫶🏼

We wanted to share something really special happening tomorrow that can make a big difference for our rescue and so many others. 💌
Chewy is doing their first-ever Chewy Claus Wish-A-Thon, a live holiday event across all their social channels on 12/4 at 5pm PT / 8pm ET.
The cool part?
Every single wish people submit for their pets during the live unlocks a $500 donation in treats and supplies for animals in need. It adds up fast, and it truly helps rescues like ours.
They’ll also be highlighting adoptable pets (maybe some familiar faces 🤩), some sweet stories, surprise wish fulfillments… basically all the warm, fuzzy holiday stuff we love ❤️
We’d love for you to hop on the live and submit a little wish for your pet. It’s simple, cute, but also kind of fun!
Thank you for always showing up for our rescue. You guys make everything we do possible. 🐾✨
