My confidence journey isn’t just a short-term thing… it’s a lifelong journey. ✨
When I was younger, I really struggled with the way I looked. I would compare my bigger body to my friends and constantly wonder, “Why don’t I look like that?” I didn’t understand why my body was different, and honestly, I spent a lot of years being harder on myself than I ever needed to be.
Don’t get me wrong, I still have moments where I don’t feel 100% confident — because we’re all human. But when I look back at the girl I was in my teens and 20s, I can truly say I’ve come so far. ❤️
Confidence didn’t happen overnight. It came from learning to love myself through every version of me, appreciating my body for what it does for me, and realizing I don’t have to wait until I reach a certain size to feel beautiful.
I’m still growing. I’m still evolving. I’m still becoming the woman I’ve always wanted to be.
And the best part? I’m finally learning that confidence was never about becoming someone else… it was about finally accepting and embracing ME. ✨👑

I might not be society’s version of beautiful and that’s perfectly fine, because God didn’t make a mistake when He made me. ✨
In my 30s, my confidence hit different. It wasn’t overnight, it came from years of healing, learning, unlearning, setting boundaries, and finally letting go of people-pleasing.
I still have my days (I’m human), but I no longer question my worth. I’ve learned to love every inch of myself—flaws, growth, and all.
Self-love isn’t easy, but trust me… it’s worth it. 🩷 #

I finally did it, my first solo cruise! 🌊✨ It was everything I needed and more. I met so many amazing people and made unforgettable memories. I’m honestly so proud of myself for taking that leap… and yes, another one is already calling my name ❤️

I may not be your type, but I’m definitely someone’s blessing. The right man will love me proudly, publicly, and unapologetically—a Black plus-size woman and all. Until God sends him, I’m on DND and moving accordingly. 💗🥰
