Spray wax = SPF 5
Wax = SPF 30
Sealant = SPF 50
Ceramic coating = SPF 70

For most boat owners, a quality sealant is the sweet spot: easy to apply, forgiving, and typically reapplied a few times throughout the season.

Then protect the protection. Harsh cleaners can degrade waxes and sealants faster, so use pH-neutral cleaners for routine washing.

The simple system:
