Arguably the most colorful animals in the ocean, Nudibranchs are soft-bodied marine gastropod molluscs that ditch their shell after the larval stage to live the squishy life around the world. With thousands of radically colored species that live in all of Earth’s oceans, we couldn’t bring ourselves to limit the design to just one, and instead created a magical mosaic of mollusc magnificence that celebrates 23 different species!

We’re launching this line with two legging designs, a reversible top, unisex shorts, a sunsuit, headband and scrunchie. But because our sea slug spirit runs so deep, we also created three 100% organic cotton graphic tees that tell the world, “Hey, I love nudibranchs and so should you!”

5% of sales from your purchase are donated to the Gosliner Slug Lab in the Invertebrate Zoology and Geology department at the California Academy of Sciences Led by the “Godfather of Nudibranchs” Dr. Terry Gosliner, they are the world’s leading research group studying nudibranchs globally and have identified and scientifically described over a third of known species. Your support will fund research projects that include developing molecular methods to understand the diversity of nudibranch families and how nudibranch diversity can serve as indicators of ecosystem health and provide the basis for establishing new marine protected areas.
