Food worth the calories (WTC), stylish fashion with flair, and culture in Miami, welcome to my blog. My serious training to be picky was cultivated in Manhattan, home for many years, and through travel, my vocation and another passion. I was one of those New Yorkers who passionately researches the places to find the best bagel, freshest fish, hottest restaurant for great food and elegant people watching, museum show, you name it. There’s a difference between what you’re looking for when you’re over 45 or you’re in your twenties or thirties.. We want to be able to hear one another in a restaurant, prefer tablecloths, no to long lines, yes to quality and value . And quality doesn’t have to be pricey. Much looking forward to hearing your tips and feedback.

We’ll miss you Chania, Crete but already booked for next year. The water is spectacular and then there’s a new uber beach club, Onar Seaside Lounge, our new hangout to spend the day. Wearing my new swimsuit from Miami Swim Week. Off to Malaga tomorrow.

Another wonderful lunch in Crete this time prepared by Mr W (as in William Oberheiser❤️) with everything from Crete.Amazing pork chop, grilled veggies and arugula salad with Cretan wine. Soooo good.

Nothing short of extraordinary in quality, montage, exhibit space and architecture, the new in Cairo. Costing about $1 billion USD it’s twice the size of the Louvre. Wonderful gift shop too. Watch for my upcoming blogpost in on my trip to Istanbul , Cairo and Alexandria.

Reading Terminal Market in Philly was named the #1 public market and I concur. If you go to Philly never ever miss it. It’s the ultimate food hall for variety, quality, and reasonable price and many of the great comfort foods like this to die for Philly cheesesteak,cheeses galore, full size pigs in a blanket,all American cakes, pickles, ribs and Peking duck
