We even became the Philanthropy Miami 2017 Shark Tank Winner just as we got started! Through a collaboration with the Overtown Youth Center our Change Rover was transformed into a "Mobile Barbershop" called the BUZZ BOXX™ to help develop BuzzItForward, an incentive based initiative that rewards youth that show academic achievement with free haircuts. All part of BuzzItFoward's mission to help youth Look Better, Feel Better and Do Better. Over the years we have partnered and collaborated with many organizations, City officials and departments to transform the Change Rover and provide service all over Florida from Homestead to Orlando and even Ft. Thank you, Colin Kaepernick, Nessa Diab & the entire Know Your Rights Camp Family, for continuing to support and our Brother organization the 's 16th Annual Christmas on 15th Ave. Parade & Toy Drive!
Thank you, Ark of The City, for not only having us again for the 4th year in a row but also for even taking from your own budget to book us and ensure we could be there for our youth. Especially since we should be sponsored to be there by others involved and / or interested in supporting positive and healthy community impact.
This happened just this Saturday with Christmas right around the corner! It even rained, and the attitude was "The Show Must Go On."
Know Your Rights Camp even upped the number of bookbags allowing us to bless 300 youth emptying box after box from within our community .
Our top-notch community barbers and Eugene Peterson serviced about 40 youth with Free Super Clean Haircuts!
