Some chairs enter museums. Few come back out. SANDOWS N°212, designed by René Herbst in 1927, is one of modernism's quiet radicals: chrome-plated tubular steel drawn in a single confident line, elastic straps as the only support, comfort achieved through tension rather than upholstery. Nearly a century later, Petite Friture becomes the exclusive editor of the piece, returning to production a design held in the collections of the Centre Pompidou, MAD Paris, and MoMA. Not a revival styled for nostalgia, but a masterpiece resuming its argument, as sharp in a room today as it was in 1927.

Some houses carry their history in the walls. Leesthorpe carries it in the glass. High above Sydney's Mosman, Mim Design and Stafford Architecture join a historic home to a sculptural extension, honoring the residence's glassmaking past by letting old craft and new form hold each other in balance. Interiors curated by Mim Design keep the dialogue going room to room, traditional detail answered by contemporary line, until the two architectural eras stop reading as periods and start reading as one house. A tribute that adds a chapter rather than turning the page.

A residential outdoor program succeeds when one hand carries it from dining terrace to pool deck without the seams showing. In this project, Point does exactly that: sculpted wood-frame armchairs holding the covered dining room, loungers and modular pieces pacing the pool, lightweight director's chairs where flexibility earns its place.

Point has been building outdoor furniture in Spain since 1920, and the continuity shows in how naturally the collections speak to each other across zones. For specifiers, that century of craft translates simply: one brand language, a complete exterior, no compromises between beauty and endurance.

The vision becomes a place. In this chapter of Larsa Pippen: The Outdoor Edit, the CLIMA Home team arrives at the residence and the transformation begins in earnest: teak planters finding their positions, woven lounge silhouettes settling into golden hour, a sculpted canopy opening over it all.

CLIMA designer AnaSofia works the plan down to the tape measure, because at this level, an outdoor room is installed with the same precision it was drawn.

By the time the light turns, the terrace has stopped being a project.

It has started being hers. The reveal is close.

The floor is where a room either comes together or quietly falls apart. In this project featured in LUXE Interiors + Design, two custom rugs by Art & Loom do the gathering: handwoven fields that pull architecture by McCarron & Associates, interiors by HW Interiors, and landscape by Todd Mac Lean into a single settled composition.

Art & Loom builds each piece as textile art first, floor covering second, and it shows in company like this, where every layer of the project was made by hand and meant to last. Craft recognizing craft, from the ground up.

A study in how architecture invites people in. The Art of Gathering, from Neocosmic Architecture's Concrete Series, composes an arrival worth the name: a ribbed cantilever sweeping over a ceremonial stair, a reflecting pool doubling the dusk, and inside, rooms built around the table and the conversation. Paper lanterns warm a dining hall open to the sea.

A sunken lounge steps down in bands of light toward low seating made for staying. It is speculative work, but the conviction underneath is timeless: the highest purpose of a great room is the people it brings together.

The most versatile specifications are the ones with the fewest opinions about their placement. Conix by Royal Botania, cast in concrete, is exactly that: a resolved conical geometry that works beside a lounge grouping, among low tables, or solo at a sun lounger without rebalancing the plan.
