At Key Point Downtown, the middle school experience extends far beyond the classroom.
Throughout the year, students have opportunities to explore new interests, strengthen friendships, and engage in activities that make school life truly memorable. Whether it's a competitive game of table tennis, a round of foosball with friends, or learning how to make arepas, these experiences help build confidence, connection, and a strong sense of community.
Because education isn't just about what happens in class—it's about creating meaningful moments that inspire growth every day.
For Mr. Rojas, one of the most rewarding parts of teaching is watching students share their talents and creativity with others. He especially loves performance days, when students have the opportunity to express themselves and parents get to experience those special moments right alongside them.
Even years later, former students still come back to visit. Those moments are a reminder that the connections built at KPA don’t end when students move on to their next chapter.

The school day doesn't end when classes are over.
Whether they're practicing karate, learning a ballet routine, or preparing for cheer, our students have opportunities to explore their interests, build confidence, and discover new passions through extracurricular activities.
Some of their favorite memories happen after the final bell rings.
Through mindfulness activities, breathing exercises, and moments of reflection, our students learn how to slow down, focus, and regulate their emotions throughout the school day.
These simple practices help build confidence, self-awareness, and resilience, skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
For Ms. Elliot, one of the most meaningful parts of teaching at KPA is the sense of community that fills every day. From morning greetings to classroom celebrations, students are surrounded by people who know them, support them, and help them grow.
