🚀 FIRST GBM IN THE BOOKS!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first SEDS General Body Meeting! It was amazing to see students come together with a shared passion for space, exploration, and innovation.

This is only the beginning🌎

Gabriel Artaza, our SEDS R&D Manager, is a perfect example of what dedication and consistency can achieve. Last summer, he earned an internship with Lockheed Martin and this summer, he’s coming back as a Lockheed Martin intern again. That kind of success doesn’t come by chance.

It comes from consistently applying to internships, networking, and showing up to events.

Being part of SEDS opens doors, but it’s what you do with those opportunities that truly matters. If you stay committed, keep showing up, and believe in your path, you can achieve your goals too. 🚀

Thank you so much to Lockheed Martin for coming to FIU and speaking with the engineering students. This event was an amazing experience, giving us the opportunity to learn more about career paths while also receiving valuable resume feedback.

It was a great space to ask questions, connect, and gain real-world insights beyond the classroom. Opportunities like this are incredibly helpful in preparing for and securing internships, and they truly help us grow professionally for what’s ahead.
