Story time: the reason this song came to be was out of boredom one day, I had already maxed out in so many errands and things I had to do I reached a point where I was left with nothing to do, and so out of that boredom I drove down to the studio and just started going through so many samples and sounds, I had no idea what I was looking for until all of a sudden a portal opened within the studio. And within this portal I realized there was a force that was pulling all of the objects into it and thus I ended up being pulled into this portal. I couldn’t believe where I ended up, I was transported to the Apollo 11 moon landing July 20 1969. But how? How was I able to breathe in space? I could see the lander from far away and noticed Neil Armstrong taking the first steps in the distance, but they had not noticed me yet. So I tried to wave but had no luck getting their attention, before you know it a portal then appeared and transported me into an opera theatre. This was no ordinary opera theatre, this was one I was familiar with but couldn’t grasp the memory until I saw someone appear walking the floor level seats. I was on the balcony row dressed in a tux awaiting the performance to begin and I saw Ruby Rhod. I was taken back, I could not believe I was transported into the fifth element movie??? But how? How was this even possible, what is this portal that is taking me from reality to reality, at first I thought wait is this the movie or the real thing? I looked directly down and I could see the camera and film crew. What are the odds of landing into one of my favorite movies. I got to witness Lucia di Lammermoor live and in person, witnessing the moment being acted by Maïwenn Le Besco and hearing the playback of the most elegant voice of Inva Mula I couldn’t help but feel so accepting of such a gift of portals transporting me to such unimaginable moments. Anyways if you made it this far, i was asleep, I woke up from a dream I didn’t know was a dream that’s how deep the sleep was because I hadn’t slept in a week.
