⚽🏆 What a winning season! Branches hosted its annual VITA Volunteer Thank You Luncheon, where we celebrated the incredible volunteers and site coordinators who dedicated their time throughout the 2025 tax season. 🎉

As the lead organization of Miami Tax Pros, Branches is proud to celebrate the volunteers and site coordinators who made this tax season a success. Their dedication helped thousands of South Florida individuals access free tax preparation services and valuable refunds. 💚

This season's impact included:
🏠 8,687+ families receiving free tax preparation services
💰 More than $2.1 million saved in tax preparation fees
📈 Over $11 million returned to families through tax refunds
💚 $4.2 million in Earned Income Tax Credits supporting hardworking families and individuals

This year's World Cup-inspired celebration brought plenty of fun to the field, from themed games and prizes to great food and even better company. ⚽🎁🍽️

🏦💙 Branches and national nonprofit Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund (CFE Fund) are excited to announce Careline Romain as Miami’s Bank On Fellow to advance banking access efforts through local coalition leadership.

🌟 Miami is one of five Bank On coalitions across the country whose work will now be supported by the Bank On Fellows initiative. The national Bank On program works to ensure that everyone has access to safe, affordable banking products. 💳

Last week of school across all 3 Branches sites 💚📚! A lot of laughs, end-of-year celebrations, and proud moments as our students wrapped up another school year 🎉.

From story time 📖 and creative play 🎨 to setting goals for the months ahead ✨, our students showed just how motivated and determined they are. We wrapped up the year with exciting arcade games 🕹️ and an unforgettable trip to Sky Zone 🤸‍♀️🎈!

We’re proud of everything they accomplished this year and grateful for all the staff, volunteers, and families who supported them along the way.

Now it’s officially time for summer ☀️😎🍉.

The team learned more about our mission, heard from Reverend Anderson and community leader Michelle Readon about South Miami's history and the challenges and joys that shaped the community, and spent time connecting with our students. 📚✨

From a phonics scavenger hunt 🔎 to serving ice cream at a fun sundae bar 🍦😋, it was a day full of learning, connection, and smiles.

What an incredible day of innovation, collaboration, and learning at our Micro-Business GenAI Workshop at Barry University 🚀✨

Entrepreneurs and small business owners came together to explore how AI can transform lead generation, marketing automation, and real-world business solutions through hands-on learning and a live innovation challenge 💡🤖📈.

Participants spent the day building their AI skills through hands-on training before teaming up with Barry University students for an exciting Hackathon challenge. Guests also enjoyed a delicious meal from one of our micro-businesses, El Paellero Gozón, and refreshments by Sir Vin Delights!
