We are conducting blockchain analysis in a multimillion-dollar fraud investigation.

The work involves tracing transactions, identifying wallet addresses, and following the movement of funds across the blockchain.

But a transaction alone does not tell the entire story.

· Who controlled the wallet?
· Where did the funds move?
· What platforms were involved?
· What digital evidence could connect the activity to a person or account?

The blockchain analysis traces the transactions. Digital forensics connects those transactions to the evidence.

In a romance scam investigation, we traced $2.1 million in cryptocurrency and helped freeze $900,000 in funds. But the investigation didn’t stop there.

Our blockchain analysis uncovered activity connected to a $22 million scheme involving the same threat actor. One investigation could reveal a much larger network of transactions, wallets, accounts, and victims.

For victims of cryptocurrency fraud, time matters. Funds could move quickly across wallets, exchanges, and platforms.

If you or someone you know falls victim to a cryptocurrency scam, reach out as soon as possible. Don’t wait.

Digital Forensics Now is proud to be featured in the Fall 2026 Women’s Edition of Latino Business Review, published by the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC).

This special edition celebrates the vision, resilience, and success of Hispanic women in business across South Florida.

For our Founder & CEO, Jovianna Gonzalez, being part of this edition reflects something at the heart of Digital Forensics Now: continue to build, lead, and create opportunities in a field where women and particularly Hispanic women remain underrepresented.

Thank you Liliam Lopez, Dr. (h.c.) and the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC).

Two devices. Two Full File System extractions.

Using Magnet VeraKey Fastrak:
iPhone 16 Pro | iOS 26.6
4 hours | 465 GB extracted

iPad Air | iPadOS 18.5 | 256 GB
3 hours | 69 GB extracted

Every device is different. Understanding the technology and available acquisition methods helps determine the right approach to a forensic collection.

We are excited to introduce the Digital Forensics Now Institute.

Founded by Jovianna Gonzalez, the Institute is dedicated to advancing digital forensics, cybercrime investigations, and eDiscovery through practical education, professional development, and industry collaboration.

Built for legal professionals, corporations, government agencies, and law enforcement, the Institute will provide practical education grounded in real world experience, forensic methodologies, and evolving technology.

Our goal is to turn knowledge into practice and help professionals better understand digital evidence and apply that knowledge to their work.

This is the next chapter of Digital Forensics Now.

We acquired an image from an HP MV Desktop, Model 750114, with an Intel Core i5 processor and 2 TB of storage using Cellebrite Digital Collector. The acquisition successfully completed in 7 hours and 17 minutes.

We used a Crucial X10 Pro Portable SSD (2,100 MB/s read / 2,000 MB/s write).

Testing different devices, storage media, and forensic tools helps us understand how they perform and how to apply them in an investigation.

We tested Magnet VeraKey and Magnet VeraKey Fastrak to acquire a Full File System image from an iPhone 17 Pro running iOS 26.5.2 with 512 GB of storage.

VeraKey reported an estimated 18 hours to complete the acquisition. Using VeraKey Fastrak, we successfully acquired 591 GB in 3 hours.

Both were tested using a Dell Pro Max with an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor and 128 GB of RAM.

The more we test our tools, the better we understand their capabilities and how to apply them in an investigation.

Our Founder & CEO, Jovianna Gonzalez, had the opportunity to visit St. Thomas University, tour the campus, and discuss ways DFN and STU can create opportunities for students.

From business and fashion to culinary arts and more, STU gives students the chance to apply what they learn beyond the classroom.

Digital Forensics Now looks forward to mentoring STU students and providing hands-on experience in digital forensics, cybersecurity, and AI.

Thank you to Carolina M. Veira, Ashley Rzyczycki, and Bradley Rzyczycki for the warm welcome and campus tour.

Our Founder and CEO, Jovianna Gonzalez, had the honor of speaking with the distinguished officers and officials of Peru’s Centro de Altos Estudios Nacionales (CAEN), including Armed Forces colonels, Peruvian National Police officers, and senior civilian leaders, on Digital Forensics, Intelligence Gathering, and Crime.

The session focused on how commercial and open source forensic tools acquire and recover digital evidence, including third-party application data, and why understanding each tool’s strengths, limitations, and methodology is critical to a digital investigation.

Jovianna was also honored to be presented with a CAEN challenge coin in recognition of her contribution to the program.

Thank you to Florida International University and Centro de Altos Estudios Nacionales (CAEN)for the invitation and the opportunity to contribute to this outstanding program.
