Both move you forward.
Give yourself room to learn at a pace that supports understanding, consistency, and confidence.
What’s one small step you can take toward your goal today?

More studying doesn't automatically mean better preparation. How you study matters too. 📚
A strong preparation strategy starts with understanding what the exam covers, identifying where you need more practice, and giving yourself enough time to work through those areas.
Use the Exam Content Outline to understand which domains are covered on the exam. The NPCP Study Guide is designed to help candidates review the knowledge areas assessed on the certification exam.

Every Pilates teacher begins somewhere.
There is a first class, a first training, a first challenge, and a moment when everything still feels new.
Knowledge develops through education. Confidence grows through experience. And progress happens one step at a time.
Wherever you are in your journey, give yourself permission to keep learning and growing.
Every step is part of becoming the teacher you want to be.

Preparing for your certification exam is a process—and the habits you build along the way matter.
A realistic study schedule, consistent preparation, reliable resources, and an understanding of where you need additional focus can help make that process more structured and manageable.
You don't need to master everything in one study session. Build your knowledge steadily and give yourself the time to prepare thoughtfully.
Save these five habits for your certification journey.

Before choosing a Pilates teacher training program, look beyond where your training begins. Consider what happens if your path changes.
You may relocate. A school may close or change hands. A curriculum may evolve.
Ask the program you're considering:
• Are observation, practice, and apprentice hours documented in writing?
• Will I receive a completion record I can take with me?
• Does the curriculum align with current NPCP eligibility requirements?
NPCP does not recommend or rank teacher training programs. Instead, we provide information to help students evaluate their options.
Student Resources includes eligibility requirements, the Candidate Handbook, and questions to consider before enrolling. The School Directory also identifies programs participating in the NPCP Verified Program.
The choice is yours to make. We give you the tools to make it well.
