Laura Marsh’s “Spheres” started with a series of 20 tactile textile sculptures created for her 2020 solo exhibition Entwined at the Deering Estate in Miami.

For AQUA ART MIAMI Laura L Marsh is creating a new series of playful and touchable SPHERES sculptures to create a safe, welcoming IRREVERSIBLE space where viewers can gather, decompress, and converse about social dynamics, labor, and caretaking.

Pouring every ounce of your raw emotion, thoughts, and suffering into what you make is a profound way to transform pain into something that breathes on its own. There is a long, sacred tradition for me as a creator using my creativity as a vessel to navigate a world that often feels too loud or too heavy. For AQUA ART MIAMI I am turning that internal overwhelm into a creative triumph is a powerful act of survival and self-definition.

Laura Marsh is a textile artist with an expanded practice. She defines spaces for viewers to engage with tactile objects, poetic phrases, and social experiences. Her weavings contain social mottos and her immersive environments offer communal space for viewers to gather and communicate about class and creative practices. Marsh received her MFA from Yale University School of Art and a BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art. Marsh has exhibited nationally at venues including The Whitney Museum of American Art, Printed Matter, Field Projects, Newman Popiashvili Gallery, and Tilton Gallery in NY. She is a current artist in residence at Oolite Arts in Miami Beach and the Curator of Exhibitions at the Art and Culture Center in Hollywood.

Scott Jeffries work has always leaned toward this kind of abstraction. As he developed his technique this abstract tendency became even more pronounced: trees transformed into wisps of color; bodies simplified into shapes; fish turned into loud, neon personalities; faces, just splashes of primary color. As Scott matured, he allowed himself more room to explore his fresh perspective of the world.

is a celebrated Miami-based performance artist born in Havana, Cuba, who brings imagination to life by transforming everyday discarded items into whimsical, handcrafted marionettes.
Pablo Cano ceramics communicates messages of human connection, cultural identity, and bridges tradition with contemporary expression, using clay to embody emotions.
By painting narrative scenes onto clay and embedding pottery into his puppets, his ceramics become living extensions of his childhood escape into castles, princesses, and theatrical wonder.
