🏆 We did it!!
The Sabre Singers just brought home Best Overall Choir at Music In The Parks , a moment we’ve poured our hearts, sweat, and countless rehearsals into. This one feels like the ultimate full-circle moment.
Thank you to my incredible Sabre Singers. You showed the world what heart, discipline, and passion sound like. This trophy belongs to each of you.
A huge thank you to .rodriiguez , our amazing choir coordinator, for your guidance and dedication. To all the parents who supported us every step of the way, and to the entire St. Brendan family for the endless love and belief in us… we couldn’t have done this without you.

Performing “Does the World Say” by Kyle Pederson with our incredible St. Brendan family wasn’t just another concert, it was a full-circle moment for me.
St. Brendan, you became home when I was a broken man walking through the hardest season of my life. You gave me purpose when I felt lost, reminded me of my value as a music educator, and showed me what real community looks like.
Through the music, the laughter, the challenges, and the growth… you healed me and built me back up.
I will miss you deeply, but forever I will be a Sabre. ❤️

Superior.
That one word doesn’t capture it.
It doesn’t capture the tears after the performance, the hugs, the way these kids looked at each other like “we did that.”
It doesn’t capture how far we’ve come, from a program that needed a reset to one of the best in the district in less than 4 years.
But most of all, it doesn’t capture who they’ve become: young people full of resilience, empathy, community, and joy.
They’re not just singers. They’re leaders, friends, humans who care deeply.
That’s the real Superior rating.
To my Sabre Singers: thank you for making me proud every single day. You are extraordinary. ❤️🎤

I think that the reason why everybody is obsessed with this song by DJO is because we all at some point have or have had to leave things behind to reach for new things. No matter your age or stage of your life, this is as human as it gets. I hope you enjoy it!🙏🏻❤️
