World BASC Organization was honored to attend the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Trade Change of Command Ceremony, marking an important leadership transition within one of the world's premier customs administrations.

A Change of Command Ceremony is a longstanding tradition that formally recognizes the transfer of authority and responsibility from one leader to another. It honors the accomplishments of the outgoing leader while symbolizing confidence in the incoming leader's ability to guide the organization forward.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Executive Assistant Commissioner Susan Thomas as she assumes her new responsibilities leading the CBP Office of Trade. Throughout her distinguished career, Executive Assistant Commissioner Thomas has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to strengthening trade enforcement, facilitating legitimate commerce, and fostering meaningful partnerships between government and the private sector.

BASC looks forward to continuing our longstanding collaboration with CBP under her leadership as we work together to advance secure, resilient, and efficient global supply chains.
