Elidea
Italian artist Elidea is Milan-born artist based in Miami. Each piece of her art is a media mix of digital art, collage, acrylic paint and pencil.
Upon nishing her studies at the European Design Institute, she began working as a video/graphic designer with several studios in Milan as well as participated in a professorial collaboration at the European Design Institute of Milan for a Music Discography Graphics Course. e fusion of her personal passion for contemporary art and photography with her strong background in computer video/graphics allows her to develop new expressive forms. Collecting suggestions and elements from everyday life, everything around her provides inspiration, from magazines and old books to the web and its photo. Cutting, pasting, and overlaying through the computer allows her to create her graphic visions; o en surrealistic, full of stimulus, and coherent to her own tastes. Each painting takes on a life of its own and Elidea always feels as though she is collaborating with the piece of art itself. She believes her work could only ever happen that exact way on that exact day at that exact time in that exact place, and never again. Her works have been exhibited in numerous Italian art galleries between Milan and Venice. During spring 2016 she has been rapresented by White Dot Gallery in Wynwood Miami. Exhibition :

Animals teach us to adapt, to persevere, and to live in harmony with the world around us. With my art I love focusing on their qualities, sharing not just a visual representation but also the lessons they offer.

Art plays a fundamental role in human life because it is a means of expression, communication, and understanding of reality. Through art, people can convey emotions, ideas, and values, reflect on society, and preserve cultural memory over time. For this reason, we speak of the importance of art as an essential element for individual and collective growth.

David and Antinous:
heroic perfection
18”x22”
David is a masterpiece of Renaissance sculpture created in marble between 1501 and 1504 by the Italian artist Michelangelo.
Did you know that Michelangelo’s most famous marble masterpiece, the Statue of David, was carved from a single block of marble that had been rejected by other artists?
The story symbolizes intelligence and courage triumphing over brute force.
Michelangelo depicts David before the battle, focused and alert, not after the victory, as earlier artists had done.
He is a rational and human hero, a symbol of the Renaissance man, master of his own destiny.
Antinous was a young Greek from Bithynia (in present-day Turkey) who lived in the 2nd century AD and is known for having been the companion and lover of the Roman emperor Hadrian.
Antinous became one of the most powerful symbols of the ideal of male beauty in the Greco-Roman world.
