I’m sorry, but bicycles should NOT be allowed on the damn roads like this…

I’m crossing one of the main bridges out of downtown and somehow I’m stuck behind a guy casually PEDALING his bicycle in the middle of regular traffic.

This isn’t some quiet neighborhood street.

This bridge connects downtown to the road everybody uses to head toward the interstate.

Cars are constantly coming through here, and now an entire lane has to slow down and figure out how to safely get around ONE bicycle.

And whatever is sitting on his head barely even looks like a proper helmet.

I genuinely don’t understand it.

If you can’t remotely keep up with the traffic around you, why are you riding down one of the main roads?

Bike trail. Bike lane. Side road. SOMETHING.

A BUSY BRIDGE SHOULD NOT BE YOUR PERSONAL BIKE PATH. 🚗 🚔

So YOU decided to ride a motorcycle in pouring rain and now everybody else has to accommodate you?!

I think not…

Did checking the weather never cross your mind?

The road is soaked. Visibility is terrible. Cars are spraying water everywhere.

Yet here you are casually riding a motorcycle through traffic like it’s a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

And now everybody behind you has to leave twice as much room, slow down, and be extra cautious because nobody wants to be responsible for knocking you off your bike.

So basically YOUR decision becomes everybody else’s problem.

Some of us have places to be.

If the forecast is calling for pouring rain, maybe today isn’t motorcycle day.

Take the car. Get a ride. Wait it out.

Anything besides making an entire lane accommodate the fact that you apparently think your Harley is a jet ski.

CHECK THE WEATHER AND PARK THE DAMN BIKE.

Just bc you own an OBNOXIOUSLY loud motorcycle does NOT give you permission to create your own parking spot wherever the bike fits…

There’s an actual accessible parking space right beside it, and this motorcycle is sitting across the striped area like the owner just unlocked a secret bonus spot.

Those lines are there for a reason.

They’re not motorcycle parking.

They’re not “I’m only going inside for five minutes” parking.

And they’re definitely not “my bike fits here so it’s fine” parking.

If you drove a car up there and left it across those stripes, everybody would immediately ask what the hell you were doing.

Probably get towed.

A motorcycle shouldn’t magically make it different.

Find an actual parking space.

And walk inside.

You don’t get to invent new parking spaces because your vehicle happens to be small enough to squeeze somewhere.

NO PARKING SPOT = DON’T PARK THERE.

DO WE REALLY NEED EVERYTHING TO BECOME A PUBLIC DISPLAY? 🇺🇸

I saw someone running down the sidewalk with an American flag attached to their back, and it made me wonder where we draw the line between personal expression and public attention.

People are free to show pride in their country, but public spaces are shared by everyone, including people from many different backgrounds and countries. Not everyone will interpret a display the same way.

For me, the bigger question is about respecting shared spaces and being mindful of the people around us, regardless of where they come from.

What do you think? Is this harmless personal expression, or can public displays sometimes feel excessive?

Just watched this guy pick up his food, immediately drive around the building, and then park so he could eat it in his car.

Apparently, getting the food wasn’t the final step—the real destination was the parking lot. 😆

Everyone has their own habits, but this definitely made me laugh. We used to joke about people doing things like this, and now it somehow feels completely normal.

Is eating your takeout in the car actually convenient, or am I missing something here?

IS ONE OF THOSE SMALL DECISIONS THAT ENDS UP AFFECTING EVERYONE AROUND YOU.
I have no problem with people washing their vehicles at home. In fact, most homeowners do it from time to time.
What I do have a problem with is when the runoff becomes everyone else's inconvenience.
In this case, a routine SUV wash sent soapy water flowing out of the driveway, across the public sidewalk, and into the street. Foam covered portions of the walkway, leaving pedestrians to either step through the mess or go out of their way to avoid it.
At one point, even someone walking a dog had to stop and figure out how to get around the runoff.
Is it a major crisis? Of course not.
But sidewalks are shared spaces. Children ride bikes on them. Neighbors walk their pets. Families, joggers, and pedestrians use them every day.
A little extra effort to contain the water or redirect the runoff could have prevented the issue entirely.
Being considerate of shared spaces is part of being a good neighbor. Small actions may seem insignificant, but they can have an impact on everyone around us.
