Two patches on one sleeve, each carrying its own piece of history.

The Tokyo Series patch marks Shohei Ohtani’s historic homecoming and first official MLB game in Japan. Above it, the Fernando 34 patch honors Dodgers legend Fernando Valenzuela.

Both remain on the jersey Ohtani wore that night at the Tokyo Dome, a jersey that connects generations of Dodgers history and one of baseball’s biggest global moments.

Now up for auction through October 17.

The Tokyo Series was far more than an Opening Day game. It brought Major League Baseball to Japan with the country’s greatest star at the center of it all.

Shohei Ohtani’s first official MLB game in his home country became the most-watched MLB game in Japanese history, drawing more than 25 million viewers in Japan alone. The jersey he wore as the entire baseball world watched, is here.

More than 25 million people in Japan watched as the country’s greatest baseball star returned home, recorded his first hit of the season, and introduced the Gold MLB Logoman to the field for the first time.

Personally signed and inscribed by Ohtani in kanji and english, this is the kind of artifact we were built to present here at The Realest: historically significant, thoroughly authenticated, and connected to a moment the world will remember.

Bidding is open through October 17.
