Memorial Day is more than a long weekend, a day off, or a barbecue.

For nearly 20 years, I had the honor of paying my respects and saying farewell to hundreds of service members who gave their lives in service to this country. Some arrived home draped in a flag on the flightline, while many others were laid to rest beside grieving families and fellow service members at the gravesite. Those moments are ones I will never forget. Some were strangers. Some were people I knew.

This weekend, take a moment to remember the men and women who never made it home to grow old, raise families, or live out the lives they deserved.

Honor them. Remember them. Never let their sacrifice become an afterthought.

From May the 4th to Revenge of the Fifth.

This build has been more challenging than I expected. Nothing about it is quick or easy.

Neither is showing up every day, going to the gym, and staying on track with my food.

On a personal note, it wasn’t easy posting a photo of myself this exposed. I know it’s not impressive, but I’m happy with the progress I’ve made so far.

Both are unfinished… but both are moving forward.
