What is CERT, and how can trained volunteers help Miami Fire-Rescue during an emergency?

National CERT Week recognizes the trained volunteers who help strengthen preparedness in communities across the country.

This year’s theme, “Carrying the Torch: 40 Years & Beyond,” celebrates four decades of neighbors helping neighbors and preparing to support their communities during emergencies.

Throughout the week, we will introduce you to Miami CERT, the skills members learn and how you can become part of our team.
