Our Give Miami Day theme, Driven by Compassion, reflects our commitment to meeting seniors where they are and removing the barriers that stand between them and the care they need. It means going further to bring medical care and support directly to older adults whose health, mobility, or transportation challenges too often limit access to care. Because distance should never stand between someone you love and the care they deserve. 💙

This Give Miami Day, your gift will help launch the first-of-its-kind mobile clinic for Miami Jewish Health's PACE program, Florida PACE Centers, bringing vital healthcare services directly to seniors in need.

On International Day of Older Persons, we honor the older adults who enrich our Miami Jewish Health community. Their experiences remind us that every person has something meaningful to share and that every chapter of life deserves respect, opportunity, and joy.

As part of our Workplace Pantry Campaign celebration, Miami Jewish Health Foundation was proud to recognize the employees who helped bring this meaningful effort to life during a special appreciation luncheon this month. Representing 20 teams across our service lines and departments, these Ambassadors, Champions, and donors played an important role in rallying participation, sharing the campaign, and helping colleagues facing difficult circumstances know they are not alone. Their leadership and care reflect the very best of Miami Jewish Health and remind us that when we come together, we can make a real difference for one another. September is Pain Awareness Month. As we get older, aches and pains can start to feel like just “part of the deal.” But persistent pain doesn’t have to be something you simply accept. There’s a lot you can do to manage it and stay active in the things you love.

Happy Sukkot! 🍋🌿

Sukkot is one of Judaism’s three major pilgrimage festivals, commemorating the temporary shelters the Israelites lived in during their journey through the desert after leaving Egypt.

Throughout this festive holiday, we gather in the sukkah, a temporary outdoor dwelling, and reflect on gratitude, community, and togetherness.

Wishing all who celebrate a Chag Sameach and a joyful Sukkot filled with meaningful moments and celebration!

Miami Jewish Health Foundation was proud to celebrate the remarkable people and partners who helped make our Workplace Pantry Campaign such a meaningful success. At a special reception hosted by Fogo de Chão, we recognized the employees, vendor partners, and friends whose participation helped provide essential food assistance to employees and their families facing food insecurity.
Thank you to everyone who took part and helped turn care into action. We are especially grateful to Fogo de Chão for graciously hosting us, and to TECO Peoples Gas and Yolanda Gonzalez Carvajal of SFR Physical Therapy for generously sponsoring the reception.

Last week, the Cypen Towers community came together to celebrate a truly incredible milestone: resident Anne Waxman’s 107th birthday! 🎂
 
Surrounded by friends, neighbors, and plenty of birthday cheer, Anne celebrated 107 remarkable years. Moments like these are a special reminder of what makes Cypen Towers such a vibrant and welcoming community, where friendships flourish and milestones are celebrated together.
