Los Angeles- running back the Open to Close set this Friday March 13th at .cat

midnight-5am. tequila chronicles pre-festival edition. link in bio.

"MoneyCat invites alexNOIZE — one half of DJ duo SWEET LIKE CHOCOLATE and Special Guests — for it's second Open to Close night. An all-night journey through the deepest corners of electronic music.

One of the scene's prominent selectors from across the pond now residing in LA, alexNOIZE blends a range of soulful house, UK funky, minimal tech, and UK garage with ease. With past sets at DoLab (Coachella) and CRSSD Festival, and appearances alongside the likes of Ben Sterling, Sammy Virji, Skream, Barry Cant Swim, Aluna, and the late Virgil Abloh, his sets are as dynamic as they are unpredictable.

Expect an expertly curated night built on years of crate-digging, genre fusion, and deep musical intuition. From warm-up to peak-time to late night sounds — this is a rare Open to Close set that’s designed to be experienced, not just heard."

promised i'd upload more full sets so: alexNOIZE b2b for .dc out now on Soundcloud.

still unsure who OK'd this b2b but 100% one of my favourite sets to play last year.

felt great repping the sound out in DC b2b with someone so instrumental in continuing to push the city's soundscape forward.

if you haven't experienced what's happening at .dc yet you're late/missing out.
