🌎✨ HERITAGE DAY at First Steps Intervention! ✨🌎
Our Spirit Week celebration was all about honoring the beautiful cultures and traditions that make our First Steps Intervention community so special! 💛
Our staff and clients proudly shared their heritage by wearing clothing that represents where they come from, celebrating the traditions that are meaningful to them, and coloring flags representing their heritage. 🇺🇸🌍🌎🌏
From different countries and cultures to unique family traditions, today was a wonderful reminder that our differences make our community stronger. 🌈🤝

Carmen has an incredible way of connecting with our kiddos. She’s fantastic with the kids and always seems to find a way to make them smile, laugh, and have fun while learning! 🥰✨

✨ Meet the Team Friday: Melis! ✨Today, we’re shining the spotlight on one of our incredible Lead BCBAs, Melis! 💙 Although she’s one of our newer BCBAs, Melis has already shown us what true grit, perseverance, and expertise look like. She jumped right in from day one and has made an incredible impact—not only helping her clients flourish, but empowering her RBTs to grow, thrive, and become their best selves along the way. 🙌 And when she’s not changing lives at work, Melis is just as impressive outside of it! 🏍️ She speaks four languages, rides motorcycles, and is an aerialist—because apparently being a phenomenal BCBA wasn’t cool enough! 😎 Melis is truly one of a kind, and we feel incredibly lucky to have her on our team. We’re so grateful for the passion, knowledge, and heart she brings to everything she does. 💙 Help us give Melis some love in the comments! 👏✨

This Friday, we’re introducing you to one of our incredible Lead BCBAs, Lily! 💕 And when we say she is the sweetest of the sweetest… we truly mean it. 🥹
Lily’s journey into ABA is deeply personal. Inspired by her nephew, who received ABA services, Lily was moved by the impact it had on her own family and knew she wanted to help other families experience that same kind of support. 💙
Today, Lily brings that heart and compassion into every case she touches. She goes above and beyond to make sure her clients feel supported, her team feels empowered, and—especially—our parents feel heard, uplifted, and never alone. ✨

This week, we’re excited to introduce Tracy Capote-Sanchez, Clinical Director of Supervision at First Steps Interventions, Inc. 💙
A Disney lover, renowned bookworm, and talented baker (Taylor Swift, who?), Tracy leads by example. When Team FSI finds themselves in a pickle, there’s one question we can always count on hearing: “What would Tracy do?” (WWTD!)
Tracy has played a role in countless clients’ programming and has made a lasting impact on staff development. Her dedication, expertise, and willingness to teach have made a meaningful difference in the lives of both our clients and our team.
We’re incredibly grateful to have Tracy as part of Team FSI! 💙✨

At First Steps Interventions, our Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) program is designed to feel like a preschool day—creating meaningful opportunities for children to learn, practice, and grow in a fun and supportive environment. 💛
Our days include engaging group activities such as:

⭕ Circle Time
🏃 Motor Stations
📚 Pre-academic learning opportunities
🤝 And so much more!
Through individualized support and fun, purposeful activities, we work on the skills that help children build confidence, independence, communication, social skills, and school readiness.
