❤️ IN LOVING MEMORY OF MY MAMA ❤️

To my Facebook friends and viewers,

Ten years ago, my Mama went home to be with the Lord. Ten years have passed, but there are moments when it still feels like yesterday. When Mama left this earth, a part of me went with her.

A couple of weeks ago, my youngest daughter, Crystal Eugene, became an attorney. It was one of the proudest moments of my life. But right in the middle of my joy, my heart went straight to Mama.

I could almost hear her voice.

“My baby! My baby!”

I know she would have been so proud. I wish she could have been there to see her granddaughter become an attorney. Sometimes our greatest achievements can carry both joy and tears because the person we desperately want to share the moment with is no longer physically here.

To everyone reading this who has accomplished something in life, but your mother, father, or someone you deeply loved was not here to witness it—I understand that pain.

There are some empty seats that success cannot fill.

There are some voices you would give anything to hear one more time.

And there are some people you never stop missing, no matter how many years have passed.

Mama, I still love you. I still miss you. And after ten years, you still live in my heart. ❤️

To everyone carrying this kind of pain, may the Lord strengthen your heart and comfort you in those moments when the memories become heavy.

I have to go now… the tears are getting too close.
