Happy 6th Birthday to my Princess. Being your dad is one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever been given. Watching you grow into the little woman that you’ve become has brought more joy into our lives than you will ever know. You’re smart, brave, kind, funny, curious, and one of the sassiest little humans on this earth. I pray today is full of fun, laughter, and everything you desire because you deserve it all. No matter how big you get, you’ll always be Daddy’s little girl. I love you with all my heart and I thank God everyday for giving me a daughter like you. May God always protect and guide you. To my not so baby anymore who made me an Uncle, we love you so much! Seeing you grow into the woman you are today, and being able to share these special moments with you has been nothing short of great. You’re beautiful, kind, smart, funny, giving, and most importantly a woman of God. With Him you already know nothing is impossible. Keep shooting for the stars and being a role model to your cousins that love and look up to you. We are proud of you and had a great time at your Sweet 16’s. Especially Kassidy 😂

If you would’ve told me this was possible last year I would’ve told you there was no chance at all. I tried to stop on my own but would always go right back to it. Mainly because of the withdrawls, and crazy nightmares every night. Not a day went by that I wasn’t getting high for 15 years straight. What I called a phase turned into an addiction that consumed half of my life. Literally burning money, robbing time from my family, their peace of mind, and my trucking business that was stagnant. On February 11 I was tired of everything I was going through, and asked God through prayer to please help me get rid of it all that I couldn’t do it alone. In an instance I felt a sense of relief and a voice that told me to throw it all away. Without hesitation I grabbed an Oz of w**d that I had left, a lot of pills and got rid of everything without looking back. To me the hardest part was always the withdrawls. No appetite, no sleep, vomiting, and vivid nightmares where I’d wake up drenched in sweat. But that day I prayed like I never prayed before and asked God to help me get through the withdrawls as well. That same night I slept like I’ve never slept in the 15 years of getting high. Not a single withdrawal symptom which made it very easy to stop for good. My closest friends that knew my history would bet against me that I’d go back in a week or max a month. But we are now 200 days in and a lifetime to go. None of this would’ve been possible with my lord and savior Jesus Christ. The void I had is finally gone. My health, my marriage, my family, my business, and everything in between is at an all time high, and there’s no way I can ever repay God for all the blessings he’s poured over my life. One thing I can and will do is forever share the love that he has for each and every one of us no matter what we are going through. Doesn’t matter how deep you think you’re in. If he did it for me he can sure do it for you.
